Opening Thursday 8th of December at 7 p.m.
The project Language Games explores the relationship between language and reality through the Norwegian Sign Language. The title is a reference to philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein’s concept where the use of a sign is like a move in a game. From this perspective, language is a game as it only makes sense in the context of its use. At the same time, Language Games refers to the idea of playing with language, seeing how it functions and having fun with it.
