Babel Art Space now invite artists to apply for exhibitions in 2018.
Deadline: October 15th.
Babel is an artist-run contemporary art space established as a part of Lademoen Artist Workshops (LKV) residency program in Trondheim. In addition to presenting international guest artists Babel hosts a number of collaborative and interdisciplinary art events and projects. The space is situated in a large storefront at the east part of the city. Babel also run the small niche bookstore Babel Bok inside the space.
Our residency program is undergoing an extension and restructuring during 2018 and we therefore invite artists to apply for exhibitions during following periods: February, September, October and November 2018.
Exhibitors will be supported by a small artist fee and limited coverage of production costs. We encourage applicants to seek additional support from other agencies. Both emerging and established artists are eligible but applicants must qualify for membership with Norske Billedkunstnere (NBK) or equivalent organizations.
The application must display a clear description of the exhibition concept and contain:
- Statement (max. 250 words)
- Project description (max 600 words)
- Updated CV
- Portfolio or link to website, vimeo etc. for documentation of previous work. Please add a short description of included work.
All information should be put together in one PDF-document and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by October 15th.
