The exhibition A Voyage To The Moon is an hypothetic travel to the Moon where Carlos Alberto Correia approaches the window space of Babel Art Space as a field-trip for 17 days. The windows will display communication with the outside and works as a platform for the observer (visitor) <- window -> situation (Moon). This voyage could be something that Correia has done or something that the visitor could imagine as a possible fictional story. Divided across three different windows the voyage appears as different stages or chapters in constant flux. Every day will bring something new; different images will appear, drawings and a written diary will emerge – all playing with the relationship between a common-built pre-conceptualization of how the Moon looks and what actual photo documentation or other documents from authentic sources tells us. Thus creating a new place for questioning what is real and what comes from our imagination.
